Tuffy the Fox and the Lost Moonlight

In a quiet forest, under the silver moon, lived a clever little fox named Tuffy.
He loved to watch the moon every night. It was his favorite thing big, shiny, and round like a glowing fruit in the sky.

One evening, dark clouds covered the sky. When Tuffy looked up the moon was gone!
“Oh no!” cried Tuffy. “Where did my moon go? Maybe someone stole it!”

He ran to his friends for help.
First, he met Bunny the Rabbit.

“Bunny! Have you seen the moon?”
Bunny shook her head. “No, but maybe the Owl knows. He stays awake all night!”

So Tuffy and Bunny went to the old oak tree where Owl lived.

“Owl, the moon is missing! What should we do?”
Owl chuckled softly. “Little one, the moon hasn’t gone. The clouds are just playing hide and seek.”

Tuffy tilted his head. “Hide and seek? The moon plays games too?”
Owl nodded. “Yes. Wait patiently and you’ll see.”

So Tuffy sat on a rock with Bunny and waited. Slowly, the wind blew the clouds away... and the bright moonlight returned, shining over the forest.

Tuffy’s eyes sparkled. “You’re back, my moon!” he laughed.
Bunny giggled. “See? The moon was just hiding behind the clouds!”

From that night, whenever the sky turned dark, Tuffy never got scared again. He knew — even if he couldn’t see the moon, it was always there, waiting to shine again. 💫

Moral: Sometimes what we think is lost is only hiding patience helps us see it again.
